Q: What is CBD?
A: CBD is an acronym or a shorter version of Cannabidiol. It’s a naturally occurring compound extracted from the cannabis (Sativa L) plant. CBD is one of the 100s of cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant, a popular one you’ve most likely heard of is THC the psychoactive cannabinoid.

In the UK CBD oil must contain less than 0.2% to be legal, this is nowhere near enough to make you ‘stoned’. We don’t remove THC completely because it helps to increase the potency of all the other cannabinoids including CBD.

Q: What are tinctures?
A: It’s simple a bottle with a pipette which is used to administer the CBD sublingually (under the tongue).

Q: What’s the difference between CBD oil and Hemp seed oil?
A: They come from different ends of the plant and while both have health benefits they couldn’t be more different. CBD oil is extracted from the flower of the plant where all the cannabinoids mentioned in ‘what is CBD?’ reside. These cannabinoids interact with your endocannabinoid system to regulate balance allowing your body to function optimally. Hemp Seed Oil is made from crushing the seeds of the hemp plant and contain healthy fats but no cannabinoids at all.

Q: Are our products 3rd party tested?
A: Yes! We ensure every batch of CBD we receive has been 3rd party tested to ensure its potency and quality. Although, they may look confusing an easy way of looking at it is by adding the percentages up and x100. This will give you the total amount of cannabinoids in the product. Q: What strength should I start with?
A: CBD is very unique in the way it interacts with everyone differently. There are many factors to take into consideration; height, sex, age, weight, metabolism and more. So as you can imagine it’s a bit of trial and error to start with. We recommend starting low and working your way up but if you’re like me 6”2 120kg I wouldn’t start with 500mg, start with 1000mg and go from there.

Q: Will I fail a drugs test?
A: Most test look for THC which is only present in very trace amounts in CBD products. So unless you are taking a lot of CBD, it wouldn’t trigger a positive THC result.

Q: Is it addictive?
A: CBD is 100% natural and has no addictive components and there are no withdrawal symptoms. However, it’s important to note if you do stop using CBD then any results you have gotten are likely to disappear.

Q: Can I overdose?
A: In short, no you cannot. CBD is particularly safe but, we don’t recommend taking over 200mg of CBD per day mainly because it will be very expensive and a waste of good quality CBD.

Q: Will I be mentally impaired?
A: Nope, CBD is non-psycho intoxicating and does not impair any motor functions. You can go about your daily activities without a problem.

Q: What ailments can it help?
A: Unfortunately, due to marketing law within the CBD industry, we aren’t able to promote any medicinal benefits. However, we find Project CBD is a fantastic source of information.

Q: What should I do if it doesn’t work?
A: Unfortunately, CBD like many other things doesn’t work for everyone. However, there are steps you can take to help you reach the desired results.

- Ensure you’re buying lab-tested, full-spectrum CBD.
You must be buying legitimate CBD products! There are many products out there that claim to be something they aren’t; lab results tell you exactly what is in the oil you’re about to purchase.

- Increase your daily dosage.
We always recommend to start low and work your way up to find your unique dosage. If you aren’t getting desired results, increase your dosage every 3/4 days.

- Choose a higher strength.
If you have only tried strengths up to 500mg don’t give up! Some people find they need up to 2000mg to really start to see the effects they desire. It’s important to know that everyone is different so you may only need 1000mg.
